i was limited to a 8 x 8 existing concrete base,
but went for the highest shed i could find so i could get the hlt up where it needed to be,
im very pleased with it.

Fantastic. Ive nearly turned green with envy. Im currently trying to persuade the wife to let me get a shed and if i could get it half as good as yours id be a happy man. Well done sir

A very nice build, clean and functional.

Have you got a shed alarm fitted ?

hoping to get new shiny upgrades in the New Year, ( I brew in my alarmed garage ) I'm contemplating getting a length of chain to loop through the handles of the pots and secure them all together and fastened to the garage wall. Its another deterrent to the opportunist scrap metal men that abound here.
Nothing is 100% secure.

P.S. the chain will be shiny too..... :D

Google AlMax for 99% security ;)

They supply chains to the motorcycling fraternity, along with solid ground anchours and nearly unbeatable padlocks, they don't make the pacloack, they just select rather good ones from Squire and offer package deals :)

I can vouch for the package, I have one that has proven to be an 'adequate' deterrent for the local scroats vs my motorcycle, it has fended off one or two attempts as well :)

thanks for the link but a bit too pricey for securing a couple of ss pots. although they cost quite a bit I cant see me spending £300 on a ground anchor and £100 on a chain for each pot. A £5000-£6000 motorcycle is a different thing.
I think I will be looking more to inconvenience the opportunist thief and securing all the pots together so that one alone can't be walked off with if I leave garage door open. A length of chain wrapped around the large bench and thro pot handles sort of thing.

Wow, they've gone up a bit.

The Almax lll with squire and ground anchor for around £200 is the kit I've got, from memory I paid £180 for a two metre length plus the padlock and ground anchor. An aquaintance on another forum has CCTV footage of some scroats trying to nick his bike one night, they came back four times with increasingly hefty kit and managed nothing more than a few scratches on the chain :)

Pragmasis might have what you're looking for then, they do stuff for pushbikes, including a 'shed anchor' that allows you to attach your stuff to the wall of the shed with chains, or shackles.
