Just finished watching 'Utopia' on Prime, the original 2013 British one not the new US remake which is meant to be poor in comparison.
Very relevant but also a bit weird too, about a Russian Flu being released and a 'dodgy' vaccine, dark humour but pretty bloodthirsty, 2 series but very watchable

I just finished the US version of Utopia recently, whilst not well rated, I think it was great. Funny, gorey, fast paced. I didn't know it was a remake, so I may have to look into the original.

I watched all 4 series and really enjoyed it. I've also have read the book. Stick with it even though series 3 does drag but series 4 s very good.

I struggled with series 3 and gave up but maybe will give it another shot if 4 is better. Sneaky Pete and Absentia both good on Amazon.

Expanse is truly great watched them all and read the books. I watched a couple of episodes of Future Man last night quite funny and full of film references.

I watched Challenger: The Final Flight, a 4 part documentary on Netflix. I have a slight fascination with space flight so really enjoyed this, it's amazing, terrifying, and heartbreaking all at once. Would recommend.

Dude I missed the first part weirdly but the rest of it was excellent, seriously that is such a dark story. And when you start seeing similarities between NASA and other organisations I might happen to be in it starts to get quite alarming.

Dark and alarming indeed, and the contrast between former NASA management saying they have no regrets over signing off the launch while the engineers who tried to halt it were in tears over their guilt was rather horrifying.

Jesus Christ that was so messed up. Evidently the value they place on a human life is extremely low.

Although interestingly now that I think of it, even the engineers must have made the same decision in their heads.

Is someone else’s life worth my job?

I mean when you think about it they could’ve sabotaged it so badly that it couldn’t launch. They’d lose their jobs if they got found out, but they could’ve saved those people’s lives. I wonder if that possibility occurred to them at the time?

Yeah you might be right, at least they had the decency to feel remorse over it though. The scary thing is I suspect this sort of risk taking is commonplace and for the same budget/deadline reasons.

Just finished cobra kai on Netflix, it's a follow up to the Karate kid films.. Takes me back to me teens watching 80s karate films, I enjoyed it its equally entertaining and ridiculous at the same time

If you are looking for a good documentary I can recommend The Mole - infiltrating North Korea. It's on iPlayer. Really good if not a little weird

For All Mankind on Apple TV and Away on Netflix have both been really enjoyable series. Fictional series about space travel. Suspend your disbelief and they’re a lot of fun.

Finished season 3 of Bloodline last night. Seasons 1 and 2 were excellent, but I felt season 3 lost its way a little bit - particularly in the final two episodes.

Now going to move on to DNA, which is in BBC Four’s foreign slot on a Saturday night. I’m hearing good things about it.
