Not sure if it has previously been mentioned but just finished True Blood which apart from the last 2 seasons which are a bit iffy was a good watch, had some good end credit songs as well.

Yes that was great when it started, then all got a bit silly towards the end. Too many different tyes of monsters... 😄

I've recently just binge-watched Tulsa King. I wasn't that hopeful as it's a Sylvester Stallone thing, but it's actually quite good. Sort of a mafia/Yellowstone crossover...

The last kingdom, about 5 seasons (last1)

Foundation, even tho it's so loosely based on the book they could have named it something else🤣

The expanse

The Lincoln lawyer

Sugar.....this had an unexpected twist

The Rookie

Reacher

The tracker...just found the1 and found it interesting

Trappo.... Australia private detective thing

I listened to Lee Child on a Simon Mayo pod cast and he wasn’t happy with Tom Cruise (as he’s only about 5ft tall) starring him in the Movies and so had distanced himself from it. He was just getting involved with the TV series and I can see why as Alan Ritchson makes an excellent Reacher.

I don't think are many hockey fans on this forum other than me 😂 but I've just mentioned it to the wife and I think we'll definitely be up for this.

Now to find out if I have to find a hooky version or it's available in the UK.

i am not really a hockey fan either but its hard not to enjoy the locker room banter and the chirping ( a hockey term for insulting the other player)
its not just a hockey show its really fun. great character developement. very quick comedy. the mixed in french is hilarious.
its very crude. jared kesso is amazing. he has really developed the character.

its much more involved then letterkenny and has a good plot. the women are stunning.

its really more about the team and the lockerroom. and loyalty . i cant stop rewatching it.

I'm background watching Foundation. The episode where they are discussing allocating funding made me realise why 'dozen' was/is such a big thing. (In the episode they talk about cultures with number bases other than 10). 12 is easy to share. You can share 12 things equally between 2, 3, 4 and six people. With 10 you can only share between 2 and 5.

You should read the Dune series, there's a conversation somewhere in the books about why nations might want to have a deprived low class..... basically thats where the soldiers come from and the more depraved the harder/better the soldier?

Watching Big Bang Theory from the beginning, i got into it part way through a couple of years ago but ditched Netflix soon after as i didn't make it to the last series i thought why not start from the start this time.

Canal boat diaries. Was BBC, but now made for UKTV.
I'd live on a narrowboat myself, if it wasn't for the restricted brew space.

I'm half way through & thoroughly engrossed.
I'd warn it's quite violent & explicit in places though.
We'll give it a go.

We were recommended The Old Man. I have to say, it was OK and the ending was great, but it did get unnecessarily violent in bits and we like Jack Reacher, so not immune to a bit of violence.

It might be a me on my own thing. I mean, I like John Wick and Guy Ritchie/Tarantino movies, so I'll be absolutely fine with it.

The first 3 episodes are good, then it seems like the writers ran out of ideas. Very flimsy second half to the series in my opinion.

First or second series?

The ending to the first was incredible and until the penultimate episode, never saw that coming.
But it was awfully slow. I reckon you could have fitted everything that happened that was important into a couple of episodes.

Sorry, I was taking about Black Doves.
