All in good time. Baguettes baked, and a bevy of fine ales selected. :thumb:

Disappointment I am afraid. From the outside it looks and smells like stilton,

But on the inside it is more like a Port Salut.

Not much in the way of blue but very creamy and tasty sort of a cross between Port Salut Camembert and Stilton

I think I have created a new style of cheese which obviously I won't be able to repeat it (like my beers  )

So it is now called The Eccles Notsoblu

Oh will I have 3 gallons of milk in the freezer ready to go , when I get some time. :thumb: :thumb:

This post has certainly stirred the cheese maker in me, I have been doing a bit of research and will be starting with a Caerphilly as it seems less complicated than the Stilton, though Stilton is my favourite.

The ideal multi purpose cheese for the V1 household, mine on the outside (blue) swimbo's on the inside (doesn't like blue)

Those baguettes look excellent! I worked at a place sandblasting those trays for paint a few years ago, but they were for Morrisons I think. The proper tools for the job always help.

Not the best of photo's.........

It was Christmas eve after all
