hello folks, i've got my last kit (Woodforde Nelson) in the FV so I'm going shopping! Theres a dazzling number of kits out there but if you had do one more before you joined St Peter for a pint at the pearly gates what would it be? Ale, Lager, Stout, even cider - anything goes..

Ha, yes I was eyeing up the St.Peters kits. People seem to like the stout. Is the Golden ale a goodun too?

Not done that many - Admiral's Reserve was very good, Nelson's Revenge is conditioning now but my favourite so far would be Festival Pride of London Porter - and I don't really drink stout or porter so I must be happy with it.

An uplifting, positive thread for these troubled times 😂

The best kits I’ve done have both been Mangrove Jacks - the Pink Grapefruit IPA and the Juicy Session IPA, so it would be one of those. If pushed, probably the Pink Grapefruit - it was superb.

I put a Nelson in the fermenter yesterday too, I'm already salivating at the thought of the first pint

Wow, I only just understood the opening thread after reading this for the third time. I just thought it was about St Peter kits and what to try next. I never knew I was a skimmer.

Ok - so I think I'd probably try a Cwtch kit after seeing so many great reviews. I've never tried it but I made a beer that was based on the recipe rumour going round. Everyone loved it. My mate said if you were targetting 5 core beers for selling that it would have to be one of them.

Cwtch kit was one of my first and a very good quality kit. So good I kicked kits all together and started AG because of it. I didn't fancy going back to the traditional kits after and nothing else was as interesting

Brew2bottle normally have a few in stock, along with the Mangrove Jack kits (my second choice), normally at unbeatable prices.

I would also go with a MJ Grapefruit IPA, but then I haven't tried their Juicy Sessions as yet as its permanently out of stock everywhere :-(

I also have high hopes for a MJ Raspberry Berliner Weis that is currently carbing-up nicely, a sneaky sip at bottling suggested full-on punch in the face sour fruity Haribo notes :-)
