I've been out with friends for birthday drinks... and here is some pictures of the beers wot I done put in my face...
If I wasn't so drunk after post beer vodka and rum, I would probably have some input into what they taste like... but...
I started with Black Hole Brewery's "Orbiter", a golden ale. Not too shabby at all.
Followed by an old favourite of mine, Goose Island's IPA
After these, we decided for a walk through the park to Preston's fantastic pub, The Continental... where I had a bottle of Brooklyn Brewery's East India Pale Ale...
From what I remember, this had um helluva hoppy kick, but yet, not as hoppy as Hard Knott's Red IPA, which despite a lower ABV, was considerably more hoppy.
As a fan of Brooklyn Brewery, I was tempted by the Chocolate Stout, but it was only around 5pm, and it was 10% ABV, and £5.25, I opted for a good failsafe beer, of Brooklyn Brewery's Lager
My penultimate beer was Mayson's Premier from Hart of Preston brewery, it had some Durian notes, but in taste, rather than flavour, like the smelly fruit. Which was weird, it tastes very sweet at first, but this gave way into the over ripe flavours I associate with the durian.
My final beery drink (before bourbon and rum) was Goose Island's 312, a glorious wheat beer, which I love, and won't hear a bad word said about

There would have been pictures but apparently that's too spammy for a new user. Buggeration
