The Hop Store - Whats in Yours?

OK following the demise of my hop freezer last winter, and not being allowed to store the hops in the indoor freezers, I have just cleared the hops store of all the old hops (2.5kg fuggles, 1 Kg Golding, I kg Progress, 1 Kilo Bobek, 500g Saaz B, 500g Pacific Gem plus assorted Blocks of Target, Mittelfruh)

Tough job, but they were old and have not been stored optimally all year . . . . So I bought myself a new freezer . . . and She hasn't seen it yet . . . plus while down at Phil's I did a bit of bargaining and now my hops store contains

500g Home grown Fuggles from 2009
500g Nelson Sauvin
100g Bramling Cross
180g Southern Cross
1Kg Goldings
1Kg Fuggles
1Kg Bobek
1Kg Hallertau Mittelfruh

Plus a few odds and sods worth keeping

So I should be fine for a few beers this year . . . What's in yours?

SWMBO is very patient about the whole thing. I know she isn't overly keen on me taking up almost half of the freezer space though :lol:

I have quite a mixture too!
I am in the same boat as MarkP .. managed to squeeze these in to family chest freezer!
They are all vacuum sealed in small quantities:-

100gm Wild Hops (think they are Bullion)!

I will be using some Cascade, Magnum and Perle on Saturday when I make Sierra Nevada :thumb:

I also have a collection of very badly labled bags of various types.

I've actually decided to keep less stock this year and purchase them more regularly as required. I had a rediculous amount of hops last year that I bought in bulk and I threw out far too much. I also find that the fresher the hop the better the beer (probably down to my dodgy storage facilities).

I have to just vacuum pack and keep in the dark as my alloted freezer space has my yeast cultures in it!
