Please let's not talk about UPS.Sorry I just did, but let that be as far as it goes. How does a homebrew company decide on a courier? Cost? Service? Reliability?

UPS grrrrrrrr, I think they were waiting for the 60 second window when I nipped into the garden to slip the card through the letterbox and run away. Now I'm faced with a drive across town to pick up even though there is a ups pick up point within walking distance.
Not sure what the parcel is but I am expecting some homebrew supplies from a company I haven't used before,if it is them, needless to say they won't get my custom again.
