The weather man/woman gives the morning report and says "good news its going to be 24c today" and i think to myself why is that good news, i hate this heat i have no air-con in my truck i have to drive around the lakes where due to all the tourists the average speed in 20 mph so even with the windows down i am still baking, great for the beer garden not for the working day.

Rant over.

I love it!

I think it was 27C today in London. So cycled both to and from work (normal) plus between clients which I dont normally do, but I hate public transport when it's this hot. I think I must have drank about 5L of water/squash today and sweated out 10L+

5L of beer is probably not a good move on re-hydration.

stop complaining about the weather the uk folks always complaining
don't matter what the weather is we are never happy
so just get a life and get on with it hot cold wet or frozen

Complaining about the weather is law in the UK. ..and for any brits anywhere in the world.
My Mrs said earlier.."it's boiling " I said. ."no **** Sherlock! ". Get in there!

29.5C in the sunshine in my garden today, gorgeous and nowhere better to be than in old blighty when the currant bun is shining.Definitley drinking weather too but resisted and saved myself for later tonight:lol:countdown has started:thumb:

I hate it, I mean really, really hate it. The sweat, discomfort, nobheads lured out of the woodwork, frazzled retinas cos of the constant blinding sun, insomnia, stench of rotting things, insects, flip flops, bloody barbeques etc etc. The list is endless. But it is what it is and only lasts 3 months or so. I'm not too vocal about it but what really freaks me out is weather forecasters saying it's glorious/head to the coast/enjoy etc. Seriously if could reach thru the screen and pull their head off, I would.

Oi! Spare the bbqs. ..nowt better than some tandoori lamb or chicken with a nice sauce made on the side burner. .....bit if you hate it fine by me! We live in a democropy. ....

Sorry to lower the tone. But shorts should be compulsory in this heat. To avoid hot sweaty dew flaps.
And please don't anyone say they have never experienced this uneasy sensation. Your only kidding yourself

Pizza and BBQ tonight surrounded by friends and family supping from an ice bucket of home brew.
Life doesn't get better.
Well it may do soon when my first AG's come into fruition [emoji847]
