The funniest thing you have seen?

Always brings a smile to face this one..
Our old cat was sitting on the patio in the sun when a bird flew over head...
Cat sees bird...bird sees cat...
bird promptly flys into a closed window and, stone dead, falls to the ground right next to cats front paws.
Cat sniffs recently deceased bird....and just walks off!

Quite a few years ago circa 1980 on Brighton seafront I watched a folicaly challenged chap leaning forward into the wind with his rug hanging on with one solitary length of what looked like sellotape flapping frantically just out of reach of both the hands held high behind his head trying to catch the beast before the wind finally won out and ripped it off into the distance. it was only a few seconds but it seemed to time lapse on forever as both my jaw dropped with empathy and my cheeks rose with laughter. Now that im a slap head myself that memory comes in handy as a dissuader should i ever contemplate thatching my roof myself.
