In my books I don't think anything artificial should enter my brew. If it couldn't be made by Normal the Conquer's Master Brewer, then I don't want it! Ok, I don't always keep with that. I do use sugar too often, but in small quantities, say for priming. Also I use LME and DME as my base, which is cheating, but nevermind. Either way, the best beers in the world don't use sugar or sweeteners, so I don't want them!
 
Yeah but this is the wine/cider section, the best wines/ciders in the world don't use sugar either, but we all make country wines and wine from fruit juice so sugar is a necessity.

I wouldn't bother using artificial sweetener myself, I just back sweeten with normal sugar or grape concentrate/juice.
 
I only use them in things like cider or ginger beer that require sweetening but must also bottle carbonate.
