So as in any decent competition there is the lackluster 3rd place play off.

For us it has been the two giant killing heavyweights that some thought would make it all the way to the final. So to defend their honor who will be placed "best runner up"

Voting closes at 9.45pm on boxing day.

It is truly amazing that TTL got this far. And it still does have a following. But for me the Cloudwater DDH Pale is a more enjoyable beer in todays modern world of beers.

Thats because your a hip, new wave, beer warrior. Traditionalist are going to go for a classic bitter over hipster swill :p

I had a pint of Sharp's Doom Bar yesterday, from the cask. It was darn good. And I hate the bottled version.

I now understand what people are talking about when they say that TTL from the cask is amazing, but the bottled version isn't.

I haven't tried it from the cask but I will, next opportunity.

This would have been a good final for my money. If I was in a pub I'd be well pleased with a good pint of TTL, but the cloudwater pale is something special - probably my favourite of all the beers I drank this year.
