I’m not trying to become an alcoholic - just hoping to have a decent amount conditioned in time for the summer :-)

This post made me think. I was getting concerned that my stocks were getting large but you're right, if its a decent summer, people come round, barbies, etc. etc. Soon goes. Trying to finish two kegs which must be close to empty so I can brew some more.

Exactly!
People descend like locusts... before you know it you've been run dry!
Hence my cunning plan to brew stronger than normal beers: let's see them try to finish the Bière de Garde or the Dubbel

Yes, i've done a few summer brews in the last month, 2 more planned for next week!
