Testing sweetness

Whats the best way to test the sweetness with Splenda? If I just try it in a glass how do I know how much to put in the DJ from that?

I'm ready to bottle mixed fruit turbo cider.

100ml in a glass
say 5g splenda in said glass

= 50g per 1000ml (1L)

= 250g per 5000ml (5L)

I've also just "spooned it" like you would sugar, a teaspoon to a bottle, but it didn't shine through much.
