Hi,

I only barrel my beer as I don't like the hassle of bottling.
This means I only tend to brew sep-may as my beer stays around 12c when under the stairs.

My question is, if I brew a beer something like a 1050-1060 og
And it's left in the barrel touching temps of 18-20c will it last ??

I would only plan on drinking it when it's around 12c

Just for the record we are moving house and number one criteria is a cellar !!

Cheers phil

Twill be fine, you won't be keggin it until very end of August or into September anyway. 2 weeks warm conditioning take you to middle of September - not long from there until you are back at 12°C !

I have a partial mash Coopers English Bitter which I kegged in June, my garage is currently at 18-19°C and its been fine, I use ice cubes in my pint glass to get a cold pint to drink, not ideal but certinly the beer has been fine (the ice cubes are those plastic jobbies with the liquid in them - so they don't dilute the beer as they melt, once used give them a quick clean then back into the freezer for next time). Bit weird drinking a pint with ice cubes floating in it but at least the beers cool.
