Hi All

Has anyone come across a cheap temperature controller (no PID) that can use Pt100 sensors? Preferable with relay outputs for about 10A.

I'm trying to avoid buying abroad as I know I'll get stung with VAT and Import taxes for this particular purchase.

It's for a different project. The TC-10 probe isn't suitable. I need a longer immersion length and a bit more accuracy.

Go on...take the risk
Even if you do get caught there won't be much to pay on a $36 pid

Maybe not, but Royal Mail will delight in taking 14 quid off me for "processing".

I decided to evaluate the TC-10 with it first, with a slight modification to the sensor. I suspect it may be fine. As I've already got one, it won't cost anything to find out.
