By the way, do I need to use a spanner to tighten the regulator nut onto the cyclinder or lubricate it?

How is this supposed to work? Do you leave the gas on permanently or only gas-up when you want to drink?

What I would do first is leave it disconnected from the kegs, turn the gas on, check pressure on the gauge and then off again - then just watch the pressure gauge for a day and check you have no leaks..

Once you are confident I tend to leave mine on :thumb:

Whilst it carbonates it will use the CO2 as it goes into solution.
