Looking for anyone who has experience this.

I don’t want to go detail of my health issues on the thread but would welcome any comments from anyone who has experience taking chemo or immunotherapy treatment.

I’ve been on various forms since July 2022 and things just dont taste the same, and as the months go on it seems that it continues to change ( the taste of march 22 , is not the same as march 23 and thats not the same as december 24 ). Has it happend to you? Did you go back to original taste in the end?

I’m struggling with some foods and drinks to the extent I’m avoiding things I used to enjoy, and I’ve another 10 months of treatment at least.

Hi Laner,

Sorry to hear of your health issues, I recall when my mum was in a similar situation she had a lot of Corsodyl (or similar) to prevent mouth infections / ulcers etc. It really impacts (reduces) flavour perception especially salt (I work with flavours and avoid it like the plague). Not sure its applicable but thought I would pass it on. For me it impacts for a couple of days after use then wears off.

Good luck with the treatment!
