If I'm going to use "Strong black Tea" instead of Tannin extract, how much should I use? I've read somewhere it's 1 Tea spoon for every gallon... Is this right?

It's probably 1 tsp of Tannin per gallon, but its more like the Tea from 1 T-bag per gallon.

Hello there yes we read the same some where too. Ive just used a tea bag brewed in a mug strong let it go cold then add too your mixture. : :thumb:

You have all reminded me that my WOW i made with the kids needs a mug of tea. Good job I didn't remember as the kids would have put milk and sugar in   .

Black tea with sugar is fine :thumb:
DON'T add milk :nono:

I don't care if it has been pasteurised, I don't want lactobacillus anywhere near my wines, thank you very much.
