It's gonna cost you , what does she want lol

Nothing has been discussed as of yet. I'm guessing it because she loves me lots and lots :-)

Six boring beers in a box, not classic. If you brewed them and had 20Ls of them, you'd be upset.

Hobgoblin.... very fresh is ok ish.

C B, there's an old saying, if you've got nothing positive to say...don't bother saying anything at all  Honestly...ungrateful so and so..........I take it your swimbos like the vast majority of swimbos..... a real ale connoisseur  .......not
It's the thought that counts ;)

Just because she's a women doesn't mean she doesn't have a palate. She is chief tester number one and puts recipes together.

Even speaking as a Cumbrian, if I gave her a home brewed beer like Cookerhoop she'd start fault finding my process. And don't get me on the Marstons or Brakspears!

That wasn't what I said, read above, I think it's fair comment that the vast majority of swimbos don't like real ale, a view shared by camra hence them launching campaigns aimed directly at that target audience.

My wife's a beer lover......NOT

she tastes all my new brews and her guaranteed response is.... will be ok with some lemonade !!!!

Gifts from SWMBO's should be treasured....they are rare commodities. Mine bought me a 4 pack of British Ale selection.......
Marstons Solution,Shepherd Neam's Spitfire and Master Brew and a Youngs Light Ale...... Unpacked and the bottles entered into my stash..... at the back...... right at the back..... :D

I thought the Cookerhoop was quite nice myself. The Brakespear just tasted like water though!

It's not often SWIMBO returns from the shop with beers for me so I have to say I'm very please

I wonder what her reaction would be if you came home and gave her a bunch of flowers out of the blue ;)
Possibly something along the lines of "what have you done"

My wife often calls me from supermarket "hi, hon, found this looking like Czech lager, it's called Zlaty Hrad, is it of any good?", "sorry, it's local made crap". Or "do you want any beer they have on offer?", "sorry, hon, they stock only crap eurolagers but would you go to this store some 10 kilometers away you'll find a great collection of good beer", the answer is "you must be joking, who goes 10 kilometers for beer?!". I prefer if she doesn't buy any beer. ;)

Sounds like the wife brings you a (very) crap beer in Britain called Kestrel Lager , one of the worse i've ever tried , best get the beer in yourself lol
