My place of work I've never heard the word c**t used so flippently. That and the word nonce.

I mean I'm no prude. The biggest thing that bothers me is the incorrect use usage of them, those, there and their.
My post was moderated. And I agree. Whichever mod did it and to the rest of you, I apologise.

It wasn't offensive. But not really within the context of this thread.

I checked first thing this morning to edit it myself, to find it had already been done.

For those that question. It was about mindless racism which I abhor. Even more than swearing.

Sorry mods. Sorry lads and ladies.

No need to apologise as you say it wasn't offensive but would have taken the thread way off topic and we all know what happens when racism is discussed here.

Well that's me in a f*****g nutshell. wink...

I'm more concerned with what the gentleman in the meme is doing with his left hand rather than the language he may or may not be using...

Floozie just down the road has got her latest beau round, and he's loudly giving it every swear word under the sun, in front of her 3yr old son. Is that alright? I'm getting so enraged that I think a phone call to the bobbies is in order. If I'd been spoken to like that as a child, I'd have zero respect for the perpetrator, even ( or especially ) if it was my dad.

No its not Gunge but i doubt the coppers will be able to do anything if the guy has no respect for his partner and her child he aint going to have any for the police.

Parents are wonderful specimens of humanity!

As a policeman, I once caught a couple of kids who had released a motor-yacht from its moorings, pushed it out into the river, hopped onboard and drifted away.

Not the sharpest knives in the drawer, they hadn't thought how they could get back to the shore and started to panic after about thirty minutes when they were still mid-stream. The owner of the boat arrived and organised a mate to take him downriver to pick up his boat and by the time he arrived the lads had managed to use a boathook to get close enough to the bank and escape. They even had time to shout obscenities at the boat owner as they passed him on the way back to their push bikes.

As I said, not the sharpest knives in the drawer because when they got back to the bikes they met me 'cos I was sitting on them having an illicit ***!

The boat hadn't been damaged so I put their bikes in the back of the Hillman Husky and took the two kids to their homes "To have a word with their parents."; and I received two major shocks when I got there:
  1. The father of Child One told me to piss off as his son was "Only having a bit of fun." Even after I pointed out that he would have been liable for any damage to (at that time) a £30,000 motor-yacht he replied "Well he didn't do any damage did he?" and again suggested that I went forth and multiplied. I left the house shaking my head and marked the parent down as "Someone to meet in the future." (Unfortunately I was posted to another division a bit later!)
  2. The father of Child Two went mental - at the kid! He stopped hitting the child and sent him to his bedroom only after I had reassured him that neither the Police or the boat owner were going to take the matter any further because the boat wasn't damaged. I actually said something like "He was only having a bit of fun and hadn't thought of the consequences."
Looking back, I'm pretty sure that neither of the two extremes made the lads better people.

Weird world eh? aheadbutt
