Started a wilko stout yesterday with addition if golden syrup. It is fermentung really fast, too fast to count almost continuous gurgling from the airlock.
It is on a heater to keep constant temperature, should i remove the heat to slow it down?

It probably doesn’t need a heater at this time of the year. What temperature is it at? If you get super high temperatures it could easily lead to off flavours . I would take it off the heat mat.

Thanks confirmed my thought. I dont have a thermometer yet, on its way with other kit but feels warm so all off.
