I've some hops to use up so am doing this tomorrow, courtesy the recipe posted on Jim's by Ender back in 2008 :thumb:

also it's my first time using Baird's malt :!:

Brew length 23L
4769g Maris Otter pale malt
50g Styrian Goldings (Bobek) 4%AA 90min
25g Styrian Goldings (Bobek) 4%AA 15min
10g Styrian Goldings (Bobek) 4%AA 7min
15g Styrian Goldings (Bobek) 4%AA 0min 20min steep at 80C
Mash 90min at 65C
Brewlab Timothy Taylor yeast
OG 1048; FG 1012: ABV 4.8%; IBU 27.1; EBC 7.6
 
You can't go wrong.

Will probably taste like a summer version of TTL.

Let us know how it turns out with the Bairds

had a very liquid sparge with the Baird's malt and pre boil gravity is down, we'll see where she ends up :roll:

Collected just over 23L at 1046, so a couple points down on target and also the Baird's malt is a bit darker than Thos Fawcett. I'll adjust the quantity of the Biard's for the next brew.
