Hi all,
Had my Black Rock Nut Brown fermenting now for 9 days, Gravity has dropped nicely to 1010, but has been stuck at that for past 2 days, need it to go to 1006, should l just leave it and hope it will drop ? Or is there anything l can do to speed it up ?

ManyThanks
Chris

At 1010 its probably finished working. What was your starting gravity ?

Then you got yourself a respectable 4% abv beer. Thats usual for a kit.

Thats Brilliant, Can get it kegged then in the morning.
Many thanks for your advise,
Thats why l like this site, people like yourself, who give good sound advise, without a lecture or a load of statements that make you feel stupid asking questions.

Thank you again
Chris

Did you use any dry malt extract? That will end up finishing a little higher than just using say 1kg of dextrose as it has some unfermentables.

No l didnt, This was my first ever brew and l unfortunately went by the instructions and added normal sugar, Ooops.
Will use brown sugar for secondary ferment.
Thanks

let it stand somewhere cool for a week before kegging....let the crap drop out.
