A question from a novice. How do I tell what strength my home brew is please? :wha: I know I could drink it till I fall over as a rough guide, :drink: but would probably forget how many bottles I have drunk and SWMBO being tidy would have binned them before I recovered. :drunk:

You need to take a gravity reading before you add the yeast with a hydrometer and one when it has finished and use the forum calculator (top left menu) to calculate it.
