Hi all

I'm a newbie but have started to brew ...and love it. So many beers so little time. I have started out with a standard kit but have decided to expand. I originally thought about another king keg or two but judging from the price I'm wondering should I just head straight to corni kegs. I have only brewed with kits so far but hope to work my way up the brewing food chain. Do you think getting cornies now is a bit cart before the horse or should I just go for it. Can't see myself doing the bottle route due to genetic laziness  . Thanks in advance for any advice

Firstly, welcome to the forum :D

Go for it :thumb:
If you continue to brew you will want them eventually, so you may as well get them sooner rather than later
But be warned, they are like rabbits and multiply rapidly

Just order a 4 corni set-up from Norman. I have opted to go for a chrome flow controlled tap as well. Everything in my brewery is aluminium and I wanted to get a bit of 'shiny' to fit in

get the cornies. If you don't like them or decide it is not for you you can sell them on flebay for cost unlike plastic kegs.

but they are great I have eight and two babies

Switching from bottling to corny kegs was the 2nd best brewing thing ive done (after moving to AG ;) )

Seriously, you will never, ever regret it!

Seven of the shiney things and 2 babies to go with. Thinking of getting some more to make a round 10 of the adult size ones
