Hi all, I am going to knock together a stout on my next batch and was going to lob in some treacle as well as dark brown sugar. Could anybody please advise me how much to put in? I have heard of people only adding in a couple of tablespoons. How much is too much?

hi and welcome to the forum.

I normally add a full 454g tin of black trecle and some extra dark spraymalt

Hi Djseaton, thanks for your response. To confirm:1Kg of Dark Brown Sugar,454g treacle and some extra dark spraymalt?

Cheers :drink:

If you were to add spray malt. I would go 50/50 with your sugar, so say 500g of each, that's what I have done in the past with coopers stout and had a lovley pint
