You need to use the sterilising solution you use for all you equipment ie what you will be sterilizing your bottles with and what you used to sterilize you DJ. I am not aware that campden tablets can be used for sterilizing.

You can use cheap diluted bleach if you don't have any proper sterilizing solution, but I have never used it and don't know the dilution rates.

Hope this is of help.

I only ever swill my corks in a mild sulphite solution. Couple of CTs in half a pint of water, in a polythene bag, corks go in, shake around for a minute or two.

Remove corks from bag as required, shake off the drips, no rinse, straight into the corker.

Be sure to disinfect the muzzle of your corker, if you're likely to get a bottle infection that's where it will come from and not the cork itself.
