hi brewers

just invested in a 20 ltr stock pot & looking for ideas & maybe point me in the right direction for some recipes

Have you seen Graham Wheeler's book? Lots of AG and Extract 'clone' recipes in there.

What kind of beer are you looking for?

I like most ales I love Guinness ,ipa's would like to try an apa but I'm willing to try anything once its all about experimenting wots the title of the book

Brew Your Own British Real Ale. Clearly, given the title, it only has British real ale recipes (plus some stout and porters) but does have quite a selection. I'll give you a particular recipe if you can think of one. The last one I did was a Wadworth 6X.

You can either use Maxi-BIAB for a volume above the pot size, or make a smaller batch of AG. If you can get DME quite cheap, I'd go for that first so you can get an idea of how the whole thing works.

sorry rob noobie here

wots maxi biab is it another spanner in the works or just another way of brewing
just when I think I've cracked it

I'm getting confused

I use a 15l pot for extract brewing with no problems though you'll apparently get better results with a bigger boil volume (hop utilisation etc). You've got to start somewhere and 20l sounds like a good place to start.
