Hi Guy's a newbie here with some more questions. I'm still a kit stage learning the ropes and making errors. I've just put a Brewferm Pils (20ltr) into the primary. It seemed pretty slow to get going and never quite as active as the ales I have done before. Now apart from forgetting to take the OG I also left the FV in a sunlit room. Will this have adverse affect on the fermentation ???. Totally forgot about the sunlight issues though it would never have been in direct light. I know I'm looking for a gravity of 1.01 after about ten days.
-On a seperate note I am reading up on AG brewing and really like the thought of giving it a go. Still at early planning stages but one early question. Do most of your boilers have thermo controls that control the temperature. ie you require say 68 deg for you mash tun do you just set say 78 deg and off you go or is a case of thermometer and monitoring ??.
Finally Thanks guy's for the advice on corny kegs. I went to see Norman and should be picking up 4 next week (not sure how i ended up with 4)...Now off to plan that AG brewery.

Dont worry about the relative lack of activity, lager is like that :thumb:
Don't worry about the light either unless it was in direct sunlight it'll be fine :thumb:
No need for a thermostat when mashing as the best mash tuns are just well insulated ;)
