We've a new range of cleaning products coming available soon to replace 5 Star Chemicals, we hope to have the Chemipro range available for shipping out on the 11th of November, we have added Chemsan as available from the website today:

The New Chemipro Range Alternatives to 5 Star Chemicals can be summarised below:

PBW → Wash

Star San → San

Saniclean → CIP

Chemipro® Wash

Chemipro WASH

Safe to use on all types of plastics and soft metals

Removes protein soil and stains, caked carbon and fatty acids

500 g, 2 kg and 10 kg packaging

Chemipro® Cip

Chemipro CIP

Low-foaming, acidic anionic final rinse

Can be used in CIP systems

250 ml, 500 ml, 1 l and 5 l packaging

Chemipro® San

Chemipro SAN

High-foaming, acidic anionic final rinse

Only requires a contact time of 60 sec.

100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml, 1 l and 5 l packaging


Chemsan is landing with us on Monday and has been added to the website today
Chemsan is a self foaming sanitiser which isn't necessary to rinse when used at the prescribed dilution rates, a suitable substitute for Starsan. Chemsan is a blend of phosphoric acid, benzenesulfonic acid and isopropanol. Ensure you are following the correct dilution rate as per the chemsan bottle and best practice is to check the ph of the diluted solution so its shown on your ph test papers as below 3

Why is the wash so expensive? It hasn’t been shipped across the Atlantic along with all the relevant duties.

Why is the wash so expensive? It hasn’t been shipped across the Atlantic along with all the relevant duties.

The product is being released by Brouwland who had distribution rights for Starsan for Europe, we are one of Brouwlands resellers and get an industry standard reseller margin, we aren't making anymore margin on this product compared to PBW.

I don’t doubt your margins are respectable, but wow somebody is making a killing on what I guess is a tweaked sodium percarbonate recipe.
Which is a shame as it will be better as is PBW.
