Ss brewtech brew bucket mini 3.5 gal

So I'm considering this:

Ss brewtech 3.5g brew bucket mini

I currently brew between 5 and 8 litres and ferment in kettle. I bottle straight from the kettle.

Why am I considering the brew bucket?

Honestly, just because I can.

I'm not sure if FIK is working for me, I've still a few brews to taste and perhaps trail a paler brew as all have been dark.

Household preference is I DON'T use a plastic fermenter, so a 10l plastic tub with tap is not an option.

Anyone with experience with these or the larger version?

I think the newer models have welded carry handles.

both my two and the 27l brewbucket have great handles.

i’m non stop using the mini’s for experimental batches!
smoked amber ale (now kegged) and got a blueberry saison in the secondary.
off topic i found an amazing compliment to the small 10l batches for kegging

I doubt if you'd want to lift it with handles as apparently the base doesn't seem to be attached!

Alltough SS Brewing's website shows this bucket WITH handles.

What issues are you having?

Just not sure if the beers are as 'clean as they could be. However, all the beers share the same components; same malts, hops and yeast. The beers are mild, porter and stout.

I currently have a pale fermenting, so I'll see how that goes.

I think it's just because FIK is not 'standard' practice and if my beer is not the best beer I've ever tasted, I'm looking for potential causes of faults.

But I enjoy the simplicity of FIK....

That sounds like a view, not an issue. Method on its own doesn't make best beer.. you do.

i still know why no handles!! crazy!!
