Which is better as a priming sugar for my Barrel or Bottles ? Ive got Irish Stout on the go and ready to Barrel in a few days and as i have both a bag of Dextrose and Dark Spray Malt in my cupboard wondered which one would be better to use,,,and how much...

I used dark dme in the brew to start off with and it tastes brilliant - i would imagine that it will add a little bit more of a malty finish rather than just purely carbonating
 
personally its just a small amount i would (and do) just use table sugar , i've tried many methods ,dme,honey,belgian candy , its makes no difference but table sugar is much cheaper .
