spray malt querie

hy all i just got a coopers lager kit and a light spray malt 500g when i make it i no the kit takes 1kg of sugar so do i still need 500g of sugar + spray malt or do i just use spray malt

not sure about kits but i think you can substitute spraymalt weight for weight for sugar dont quote me though not sure

just add another 500 grams of sugar.

Yes substitute DME for sugar gram for gram it will be a better brew for it.
