Hi,
Just drinking a spitfire, nice drink. It has a slighly fruity banana taste to it which I quite like (big fan of the banana bread beer too)
Does anyone know what creates that flavour, I get the impression it could be a yeast, dont know why tho.

I`m not sure either - but i`m sure i have seen a post about flavours produced by different yeasts so i think your on the right track - also its possible to make banana wine and use them in other wines.

Banana beer? :?:

you could try, WLP022 Essex Ale Yeast. It is estery and that were the banana taste comes from.
