after setting loads in the veg patch, the wife tells me she don't like it!!....so going to be starting this at weekend...

2.5 lb spinach
1 pint white grape concentrate
2.5 lb sugar
2 tsp citric acid
0.5 tsp tannin
yeast and nutrient
water to a gallon

Be a first for me..unless anyone else has made spinach wine before.........

Sounds interesting - let us know how it goes mate. I've been wondering about vegetable wines for a while.

Hows this doing?? would Popeye approve :D We've got also got loads of the stuff down at the allotment so anythng that prevents being fed it every other day is great, (its my consultants fault he sent me a letter after a blood test saying I need more iron so the spinch appears on the plate!!) I prefer my method of iron intake though (pint or two of Guiness, steak and chips!!)

Hey dandan.

If you want a tasty way to get spinach into your diet, try Saag Paneer. It's probably the tastiest vegetarian dish that exists, and is packed with iron!
