spinach wine

after setting loads in the veg patch, the wife tells me she don't like it!!....so going to be starting this at weekend...

2.5 lb spinach
1 pint white grape concentrate
2.5 lb sugar
2 tsp citric acid
0.5 tsp tannin
yeast and nutrient
water to a gallon

Be a first for me..unless anyone else has made spinach wine before.........

Sounds interesting - let us know how it goes mate. I've been wondering about vegetable wines for a while.

Hows this doing?? would Popeye approve We've got also got loads of the stuff down at the allotment so anythng that prevents being fed it every other day is great, (its my consultants fault he sent me a letter after a blood test saying I need more iron so the spinch appears on the plate!!) I prefer my method of iron intake though (pint or two of Guiness, steak and chips!!)
