spiced apple wine

Hi There

Here is one I have Been making for years if you start it now it will be fine for next Christmas

1 lt red grape juice
1 lt apple juice (fresh or supermarket from carton )
1 kg sugar
1 tsp youngs super yeast
1 tsp citric acid
1 tsp pectolase
3 drops vanilla flavouring
1 tsp ground nutmeg

Follow recipe for WOW this is for 1 gall please do not top up to top of dj please leave room
as this will foam out of air lock

ps I stop mine at s.g 1.010 (I like sweet wines red or white )

Hi Moley,

Just a thought, I do tend to like my wine's on the sweet side be they red or white
but then again I make them for my taste .

Got one of these going at the moment, only I used cinnamon instead of nutmeg. Looking good. :drink:
