Speidel Braumeister systems

Anyone come across these before?

I saw it on the US 'MoreBeer' suppliers site, a German product that uses as slightly different approach to mashing and wort boiling. The 50L version is just shy of $3k ex-US: http://morebeer.com/view_product/11860/ ... ster_-_50L

I dug out the supplier in Germany - here's the .pdf leaflet for the product: http://www.speidel-behaelter.de/form/braumeister_en.pdf Dunno what the price would be in Euros ex-germany.

Looks geared towards step-mashing, but I assume you could programme it to do a 'traditional' UK mash.

Anyone ever seen one of these in action?

That's awesome but rather pricey.

I think with the wealth of experience and ability, i think we as a group could create a similar controlled system and the profits made from the sale could go to the website maintainence.

For 600-800 quid for a similar system i would buy 2 of them for definate!

What do the other think?
