Dronfieldbrewer
Landlord.
Eh Up,
going for a quick brew tomorrow, weather permitting. If there is a record for the speed of an AG of decent brew length then I would like to start it.
Going from cold tap water in HLT to final yeast pitching for a full 50 litre brew (1 hour boil and 1 hour mash), using at least 20 mins sparge. No corners cut.
I plan to drop the kids off at school and start to set up at 9.15, so not pre weighing or premeasuring liquor and includes setting up the 3 stage brewery in the garden, the lot. I think I can do it in under 4 hours.
I plan to take piccys at strategic points with a watch on to prove the timings.
The brew is a bit secret as its for the Hot Break, I know its at the last minute but the weather has been against me as I brew outside.
