Hi all,
Bit of a beginner here I'm afraid...
I have a coopers sparkling ale kit that I will shortly start off. The kit recommends that it is fermented along with "1.5kg Coopers Light Malt Extract, 500g Light Dry Malt (the same as light spraymalt) and 300g of Dextrose/Sugar."
As the kit was supplied as a replacement for another that was out of stock, I didn't order the malt extract, but the guy I ordered from said that it will work fine without. The only thing I'm not sure of is whether I need to add something in its place.
I have the spraymalt and the brewing sugar.
Do I just ferment the kit with 300g of brewing sugar and 500g of spraymalt, or do I need to add more sugar in place of the malt extract?
OR, is it worth getting hold of some of this malt extract stuff?
Thanks :thumb:
