Great podcast and accompanying article on this technique at BIAZB. Have a sous vide and also like to make the occasional small batch brew so will give it a go. Looks like the ideal way to hit the mash temperature.
 
I've used my sous vide for steeping grains. I put the grain in a bag set the SV to 66C and leave for 30 minutes. I think it would work well with small (10L) batches too.

Have only used mine to warm up the water for mashing so far, time to experiment.
