I've had a mixed few weeks of brewing lately.
My DP Simonds 1880 Bitter is now 16 days into fermenting and has just got down to 1018 from 1060. If it's still 1018 tomorrow i'll rack into bottles.
Out of the two kegs of Styrian Slapper i have, one is just getting drinkable the other is a bit vinegary... My first infected brew i reckon. Not pleased as i was relying on the two kegs for my xmas brews.
My british cask yeast got infected so i had to bin it. Not at all happy about that but it'll teach me to get a wyeast pack started when pissed.

My Atwez Ale is coming into it's own now. A nice brew but a bit unbalanced with too much hop taste and flavour. The beautiful aroma is fading away now too. Quite perplexed about this...

I got 18L of nice apple juice that i'm going to TC with no added sugar and cider yeast. Quite looking forward to this as i love cider. Was really happy with my blackrock cider kits but as BS keeps banging on about how great his TC is i thought i'd better have another go at TC.

I'm planning another batch of DP's 1837 IPA but i don't have enough fuggles or EKG to do it so i'm going to substitute for whatever flowers i have left. Perhaps even Nelson Sauvin...

Brewing is great, i love it. Even with the ups and downs :thumb:
