I don't think there's enough movement to mix in the AMS properly.

I always add the ams/crs when filling the hlt so you can be sure its mixed as the tun is filling.
My hlt is 100lt and i'm happy with my solar pump recirc.
Certainly beats standing on TWO beer crates to stir the liquor when you're half asleep first thing in the morning!
