Hah, I try not to watch TV. Only on Saturday evening, an episode of nice British crime series.

Many years ago, when I was teaching in Dagenham, we tried a period without a TV.
When I let slip to my class that I didn't have a TV They wanted to know what the family did in the evening.
I told them that we listened to the radio, listened to music, played games, read books etc.
One youngster piped up, "It must be like The Waltons in your house".

I have a Cinema Paradisio subscription which provides me with more content than I have time to watch. If wanted more, I'd subscribe to a steaming service but with books, music and the interweb, I don't need to.
If I liked watching sport, it might be different but I'd rather eat my own earwax than watch a bunch of overpaid meatheads kick a ball about.
It's more than a decade since I had a TV licence and I don't cheat and I don't miss it.
