so4 yeast

I bought some so4 yeast about 6 months ago, it was in small clear packets and cheap in comparison to the Safale packets, anyone know where I might have got this from as it worked a treat but I cant find the links to it?

Probably was Barley Bottom, I've bought S-04 from there which was repackaged from bulk into clear, ziplock bags for significantly less than the branded sachet price (£1.20 IIRC). However, BB's yeast page now says:

Due to circumstances beyond my control I am no longer able to supply yeast in my repacked 12g sachets.

ahhh! thanks Moley, I just cant remember where I got it from, never mind, looks like I will have to go with Safale original packs, unless I hear different

You might find it hard to buy S-04 now in clear re-packaged bags, the main suppliers have stopped sellers splitting 500g vacuum bags.
Only place I know now is.... CLICKY

I used to get mine from The Malt Miller but he stop doing them, Last batch I got on-line from Worcester Hop Shop (www.WorcesterHopShop.co.uk) about £1 ish each + p&p. (That was a couple of weeks ago) :

The Issue as I understand it was a long established wholesaler ratted the re-packagers out to Fermentis . . . who told them to stop it! :twisted:
