I'm a fan of most beers, but I have to say that Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is still the benchmark beer for me.
I know it's been around a while and others have expanded on what they have done, but it's a classic and just perfectly balanced. It's the beer that first introduced me to the big, west coast cascade style beers that I love.

I liked SNPA in bottles but once had the opportunity to try it cask at the Kro bar in Manchester...it's another pint...you could smell the hop aroma drifting over the bar as it was poured...one of the best pints I've ever had...not expected from a student pub :drink:

SNPA was my first AG now in the barrel for secondary, hope to get a decent pint by mid-month for my birthday.
I have also tried the SNPA available in Sainsburys (small bottle £1.68) whilst it's very good my brew will be even better...
