It's just started snowing here (just north of Birmingham, near Tamworth), not heavy yet but the sky looks "full of it".

I was digging a trench this morning for the 40A feed to the shed . . . and there were one or two flakes swirling about . . .. flippin cold too . . . . Still managed to get the cable underground and put the flags back . . . only split my index finger 'tamping' one back into place with a club hammer

We have 8 inches of snow on the ground here  ok i may be exagerating by about 8 inches  I can't even remember what snow looks like it's been so long

It's stopped here now, but there is a dusting on the floor, I'm sure we're going to get a load of snow tonight, you know how everything sort of feels quiet out just before it snows heavy......

Snowing here off and on big flakes and heavy when it is though I'm on the Wirral fingers crossed we get a good fall I haven't made a snowman for years :D

yep, i've promised my girls a Snowman if we get a good fall too..... :thumb:

Hope this thread turns into a Snowman competition

Snow-Ha Ha!!!!!

Could snow here i suppose-it's a 'chilly' 22C today...

Been snowing on and off in preston most of the day nothing has stuck yet though, I would like about 2 foot over the penninines by the morning which would mean I wont have to goto york for work in the morning.

ooohhh, thats a crapper of a trip in the snow :(

had a ten minute blizzard yesterday. got about a quarter of an inch in that time... massive flakes... but not alot since. everything is lightly dusted atm

really coming down here now... up to half inch from the 10mm that was still on the ground this morning.

Well im doing the bounce from Preston to York for the next 5 months or so with work.
Preston had an inch or their abouts but York has had a good 4 inches and it was rubbish from about 10 miles out getting in. Im going home soon not going to get stuck over here.
