OG - 1042 went relatively well I guess boiled and cooled hops for 15 minutes for a little flavour, also another little bit was boiled for just 5 and threw in at the end.

Result is the temp being slightly high 28c but should be ok right? (Hoping a Scottish winter does it's thing...)

Specific Gravity has been 1004 since Friday .. (The Coopers DVD says this is my Final Gravity but surely not if I've just added more sugar). Using the calculator on here though that's 5% and set tae climb a little more though right? (ooft!)

Bottled today ... cleaned out most the Coopers Kit bottles and reused them (some have been bumped by friends). Made up the difference with some water bottles from ASDA - 2 x 2 litres & 6 x 330ml bottles for 59p (they'll look cute if they don't explode)

Got the bottles on 2 shelves half have been primed by the remaining Coopers Carbonation drops and the rest by White Sugar. I also have 2 bottles in my room with Brown sugar to see any difference ..

Tastes alright, maybe a little too bitter, should have used less acidic hops, but learning about brewing piece by piece. Hopefully this time next year we're quiet familiar with extract brewing and are starting to price fancy equipment.
