'Morning all, first time brewer here. Everything cleaned, brew made but due to weather warming up its a little warmer than recomended...22-24c. Its now on its second day and there is a smell coming from it. Its...well...like a fart to be brutally honest. Is this to be expected or has it gone bad?
Thanks in advance

aah don't we all make some smells when we are young and in our cot....
Give it time.
Its just the process of fermentation and my best advice to you is stop sticking your nose in it and leave well alone for a week

Thanks for that. BTW I havn't stuck my nose in it, you can smell it all over the ground floor of the house. I don't know what she will say when she gets up

I store my beer in a cupboard in a spare room and when u go in the first couple of days the smell is pretty strong it will die down

You can always blame the dog.if you got one.if not get one quick

I never blame the home brew for the smells.

I always tell the mrs its my socks in the laundry basket.

Gets the washing done quicker
