Smaragd hops and newport

Hi Im doing my first solo AG next week. Im thinking of using pale malt /crystal with Newport ( 11% aa as bittering and Smaragd as aroma (8 % AA ) ...this is what i have on hand I also have tetnanger , aurora and pioneer but want to tery keep it simple but nice and hoppy. Im thinking of 3kg pale malt 500g crystal. to make about 18-19 L batch....how does that sound any recipe advise is appreciated...or should i get more pale malt ?

the malts sound fine haven't used any of those hops but they should be fine. Just stick to about 35 ibus

brewed with these yesterday ...the smaragd are very very nice smelling . will keep you posted when i taste it

this turned out to be a lovely ale... red in color edium bitterness and a lovely whack of flavor hops and aroma...highly recommend bothe these hops.
