Hi Im doing my first solo AG next week. Im thinking of using pale malt /crystal with Newport ( 11% aa as bittering and Smaragd as aroma (8 % AA ) ...this is what i have on hand I also have tetnanger , aurora and pioneer but want to tery keep it simple but nice and hoppy. Im thinking of 3kg pale malt 500g crystal. to make about 18-19 L batch....how does that sound any recipe advise is appreciated...or should i get more pale malt ?
